FAQ
Before you choose a plan
What does “identity-bound account slot” mean?
A slot becomes assigned to the permanent platform identity of the account you confirm, such as a Facebook Page ID or YouTube Channel ID. Disconnecting or removing that account locally does not make the slot available for a different identity.
Can I reconnect the same account?
Yes. If an account is already bound to your license, you can reconnect that same platform identity on the authorized PC. A different identity requires an account-slot reset.
Does MatoUploader store my social-media password?
No. Supported account connections use the authorization flow provided by the platform. Do not send passwords or access credentials to MatoUploader support.
Can the app work without Internet?
A valid signed offline license lease can allow the desktop app to open while offline. Publishing, account authorization, cloud scheduling, and update checks still require Internet access when those services are used.
Do I need to leave my PC running?
Desktop uploads require the app while they are being sent. For selected supported cloud-scheduled workflows, the final scheduled publish can continue through MatoUploader Cloud after the handoff completes.
How do app updates work?
MatoUploader checks for newer versions, downloads the installer when you approve an update, verifies its SHA-256 value, then launches the Windows installer.
