Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how MatoUploader handles information when you use the MatoUploader Windows desktop application, MatoUploader Cloud services, and this website.
1. Information you provide
MatoUploader processes media files, titles, descriptions, captions, tags, scheduling choices, account selections, and other publishing information that you choose to enter or select.
2. Connected social accounts
When you connect a supported social media account, authorization is performed through a supported platform authorization flow. MatoUploader does not ask for or store your social-media password.
3. License, device, and account-slot information
To activate licenses and enforce plan limits, MatoUploader Cloud may process license identifiers, device identifiers or device hashes, plan and billing-cycle information, license expiry information, signed-license lease data, and the permanent platform identifiers and display names of accounts assigned to license slots.
4. Authorization data and local settings
The desktop app may store authorization data, connected-account information, application settings, recent file paths, and upload recovery information on your Windows computer so that it can perform the actions you request. Some supported cloud workflows may also synchronize account authorization information needed to complete scheduled publishing.
5. Cloud-scheduled publishing
For supported cloud-assisted workflows, MatoUploader may temporarily upload media and related publishing metadata to MatoUploader Cloud so a scheduled job can complete after the desktop handoff. Temporary cloud media is intended to be removed after the publishing workflow completes or when it is otherwise no longer required for the job.
6. App update checks
MatoUploader may contact MatoUploader Cloud to check the installed app version against the current release and to download an installer when you approve an update.
7. How information is used
- To activate and validate your MatoUploader license.
- To enforce device and account-slot limits associated with your plan.
- To identify the social account you connected or selected.
- To upload or schedule media after you start the action.
- To display upload status, errors, account information, and update status.
- To remember application settings and recover supported upload-session state.
8. Sharing of information
MatoUploader does not sell your personal information. Information needed for a publishing action may be sent to the external platform you choose to use. Cloud infrastructure providers may process data as necessary to host MatoUploader services, subject to their applicable service terms and safeguards.
9. Data retention and removal
Local MatoUploader data remains on your computer until removed through the application, uninstall process, or local application-data deletion. License and account-slot records may be retained while needed to operate the license and enforce identity-bound slot limits. External social platforms may retain data according to their own policies.
10. Security
We take reasonable steps to limit the information MatoUploader uses to what is needed for licensing, account connection, publishing, scheduling, support, and software updates. No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
11. Children's privacy
MatoUploader is intended for users who are legally permitted to manage and publish content on the connected platforms. It is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children.
12. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when MatoUploader features, infrastructure, or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
