This Privacy Policy explains how MatoUploader handles information when you use the MatoUploader Windows desktop application and this website.
1. Information you provide
MatoUploader processes media files, titles, descriptions, captions, scheduling choices, and other publishing information that you choose to enter or select.
2. Connected social accounts
When you connect a supported social media account, authorization is performed through that platform's official authorization flow. MatoUploader does not ask for or store your social media password.
3. Authorization tokens and local settings
MatoUploader may store authorization tokens, connected-account information, application settings, and recent file paths locally on your Windows computer so that the application can perform the actions you request.
4. How information is used
- To identify the social account you connected.
- To upload or schedule media after you start the action.
- To display upload status, errors, and account information.
- To remember application settings on your device.
5. Sharing of information
MatoUploader does not sell your personal information. Data needed to perform a publishing action is sent only to the external service that you choose to use, subject to that service's own terms and privacy policy.
6. Data retention and removal
Local MatoUploader data remains on your computer until you remove it, disconnect an account, uninstall the application, or delete the relevant local application data. Some external platforms may retain data according to their own policies.
7. Security
We take reasonable steps to limit the data MatoUploader uses to what is needed for the requested publishing workflow. No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
8. Children's privacy
MatoUploader is intended for users who are legally permitted to manage and publish content on the connected platforms. It is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when MatoUploader features or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
